PROPOSAL: S4.55(2) Modification Application for first floor addition to weighbridge office, relocation of weighbridges, revisions to water storage and amenities building, new awing over entry portal, pedestrian entry doors, additional push walls and changes to parking space configuration.
A Section 4.55(2) Modification Application in relation to the subject site and pursuant to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 has been lodged by Aussie Skips Recycling Pty Ltd and received by Council in relation to a previous approval for the construction of an acoustic enclosure comprising recycling yard, storage bays and workshop and construction of two (2) weighbridges and a single-storey office, and ancillary structures.
The Application is seeking modifications for first floor addition to weighbridge office, relocation of weighbridges, revisions to water storage and amenities building, new awing over entry portal, pedestrian entry doors, additional push walls and changes to parking space configuration.

Should you wish to make a written submission, the grounds of any submission to the development should be clearly stated with your name and address printed on the letter. If you do not provide your details, your submission will be included and considered, however we will not be sending an acknowledgement letter and you will not be informed of the outcome. It should be noted that submissions will be made publicly available and may be referred to in a report to Council. Submissions should quote the DA reference number and Address at the top of this letter and be addressed to the General Manager and posted or sent by email to council@strathfield.nsw.gov.au before 5:00pm on 15 October 2024.
Please note that a person who makes a submission may also need to disclose reportable political donations and gifts made to a Councillor or employee of Council, as required by the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
