Draft Planning Agreement Policy

Draft Planning Agreement Policy

Council, at its meeting on 6 December 2022, resolved that the draft Planning Agreement Policy and accompanying draft Template Planning Agreement and draft Explanatory Note Template be endorsed for public exhibition for a minimum twenty-eight (28) days.

Council does not have an existing Planning Agreement Policy. By providing standard templates which relate to a formal policy, Council is ensuring greater consistency and control over planning agreements. In accordance with the Department of Planning and Environment Planning Agreement Practice Note of February 2021 and Council’s Community Participation Plan, the draft Planning Agreement Policy will be publicly exhibited.

The draft Planning Agreement Policy will be on public exhibition for 28 days from Thursday 15 December 2022 to Friday 3 February 2023 inclusive (28 days excluding 20 December 2022 to 10 January 2023).
