Begnell Field

About

Begnell Field is one of Strathfield’s largest parks measuring 4.24 hectares in size. Begnell Park features a large sportsground, suitable for Rugby League and other sports. The park has many uses but is suitable for large organised gatherings including function hire or markets. There is considerable on-site parking available with entry from Madeline Street.

• Amenities, change rooms and canteen (west side of field), toilet block and small canteen (east side of field). (Amenities are only open when the ground is hired)

• Nearest public toilets are located in Cooke Park, Madeline Street Belfield

Hire of Sportsgrounds

The following facilities are available for seasonal or casual hire:

• Winter:  1 Rugby League field or 2 Touch Football field

• Summer:  1 Football field or 2 Touch Football field
